Yes, even the Skywolf has issues from time to time.
I'm having some major issues trying to install the latest Microsoft Zune software on my lappy. This is what I get, when the 'installing Zune software' gets to about 20% done:
"Setup must stop because the required package 'Zune' didn't install.
Custom Action 10:29:58.774 Operation 'RemoveDriver' has finished with result 0x80070003
Custom Action 10:30:00.026 Operation 'InstallDriver' has finished with result 0x80004005
Error code: 0x80070003"
It provides a link to Microshaft's site, which is of absolutely no help.
It's funny... I had this version installed and working at FC this year. It stopped recognizing my Zune and I've been fighting with it since.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know a solution?

No restore disks I have access to. I've Googled the heck out of this issue, and no one can seem to make any headway of it.
Honestly, reinstalling Windows should be a last resort, not the first one. I dunno what issue's that guy's had, but if his system is requiring that, there's something else wrong!

Try turning Windows Firewall on, if it isn't >.> That's why mine wouldn't work.

It's always been on. Had to make sure it and Trend Micro weren't blocking the proggy, too.
Just installed SP3 for XP, so we'll see what happens.

Unfortunately, I don't have any clue what could be wrong.

No, no... quite alright. I've probably said much worse about Gates' evil empire. Evidently, neither does Microshaft.

I haven't had any problems with my Zune since the installation of the software. Since then it's been a dream. My Xbox on the other hand, it has it's problems. Microsoft makes crap, yeah, but eh...

Does anyone know a solution?
Trade it for a Creative Zen... I don't know, Windows is the only Microsoft product I will ever willingly use. And that's only because I don't care to invest the time and effort required to figure out any other operating system.

I've had a couple people make fun of my ipod nano. Funny thing is, it and itunes have never given me a lick of trouble. And thanks to best buy's wonderful little replacement plan, I traded it for a brand new one after two years since the battery was getting a little gimpy. And since they didn't have the same model anymore, I got the next best one, with twice the storage space. Don't ask me how this works, but since it was also cheaper than what I'd initially paid for the first one, they refunded me $50 (which I promptly spent on games, of course!) too. <3 best buy.
It's the only Apple product I've ever felt much need to use, but I'd use it over a Zune any day...imho, that thing struck me as a hastily developed ripoff seeking to cash in on the hype :P

I've used my Sandisk Sansa e280 almost every day for the past year and a half, 10+ hours per day with no major issue. Surprisingly, it's also a first-gen and still works flawlessly.
