The Bear of Many Talents

Super Late Update:

I'm very happy about the results of this vote.  bear_happy

I went and voted.

Despite all the news stories about long lines and waiting, I just walked to my
polling site, took my MP3 player and listened to Evanescence's The Open Door while I waited with everyone else.  bear_original

Including the walk to and from, the whole thing only took me an hour.

I asked my boss about his voting experience and he said his polling place was nearly empty when he went. He was in and out in a few minutes.

While I was there, the whole room was very friendly. Strangers were talking to each other, regardless of age or social standing. No one seemed impatient or frustrated to me.  I felt it was one of my more enjoyable voting experiences.

Thanks to all who voted here, and in their respective elections.  bear_thumb
