His eyes softened and he stood up, paws running over his body to check for any wounds finding none on his immediate person he looked at the figure and two in the background." Ok, where am I? This sure as hell ain't the jungle." His clothes didn't seem to change on the way through the portal and he took a moment to go over a mental checklist of his clothes and other items.

< One camo colored bandanna for the head..Check. One red bandanna for the neck..Check. Brown jacket...check. Army camo pants...check and combat boots...Check. Cigarettes? Check. Lighter? Check.>

"One question, why are you dressed like that? Why are all of you dressed like that?" He began to walk over towards the pair.

"where i came from this si the uniform of my job and of my brothers. since this is their world, i think its safe to say thats probally how the peopel here dress." ring replies as he walks beside the human.

"Where did you come from, wait never mind I want to pick these two...felines brains and get some answers." He stood in front of the two, his paws in his camo pants idly playing with his lighter.
"Alright, give me some answers."

Ring stepped back and watched how the two hosts will answer the coywolf. as  he waited he decided to examine the local palnt life and walekd behind a tree to begin looking.

"Well," Melody began, "This is the land of Valeria. It's our home. It has multiple regions, each with different coloured versions of, well, us. We can all-"
Felix jumped behind her, and clasped a paw over her snout. He then inserted his into her large- but not abnormally so- ear, and spoke in an almost silent tone. Melody's ears stood up, and her eyes widened when she heard what he had to say. She responded to him in the same way, having to stand on the tips of her toes, as she was significantly shorter than him. Felix compensated for the remainder of the height by lifting her with telekinesis. When he dropped her, he turned around, crossed his arms, and pouted. Melody turned back to Juan.
"Sorry about that." Melody pleaded, "but Felix insists that you have something in your pocket, and also asks that I not continue until I am allowed to examine it. May I please?"

"What you mean my lighter?"
He took the silver rectangle out of his pocket and showed it.
"This little thing? I use it too light my cigs, is it a problem?"
He put it in his palm and tossed it over to Felix.

Felix sniffed at the lighter, and, satisfied, handed it to Melody. She to examined it (Minus the smelling), and whilst she did so, Felix sniffed at the air. He then turned back to the lighter, then to Juan, then to the lighter, and yelled,
"MELODY! IT'S A TRAP! DROP IT!!!" she, in response, dropped the lighter and skidded out of the way, about 5 metres away from the totally unassuming lighter, and, whilst it took no damage, the aforementioned lighter was unhappy that it had been so badly handled. After five minutes of not knowing what to expect, Melody gave up on crouching to conceal her soft spots, and stood up. She then marched over to Felix, and shouted:
"I demand to know the significance of what I just wasted my time on!"
"He's got the flame" Felix replied.
"Really? He doesn't seem like one who would use it."
"Well, he does. The reason I made you dodge the object is that it contains flammable liquid."
"I don't believe you. Any amount of flammable liquid in that kind of amount would be useless."
"I'll prove it to you." Felix handed the lighter back to the mildly confused Juan, along with the statement:
"Please opperate this device."

Juan nodded and took the lighter, fumbling it for a moment before flipping the silver took and with a click, a small flame appeared.
"See? No harm done, just a little flame." Shutting the top again, the flame disappeared and he put it back into his pocket. Resisting the urge to take out one of his cigarettes and light that up too, Juan bowed slightly and walked over to the creature.
" So...why am I here exactly? I got the feeling those two are just gonna keep freaking out at me. Maybe you can give me some answers?"

"Not to be rude, or interrupt or anything," Melody pointed out, "But I would step away from that tree if I were you. You have about 60 seconds before it decides to attack you."
"Also, Juan, unless you already know, try taking out your lighter and blowing on the flame. You may be surprised by the results." Felix remarked.

ring walks back to the otehrs after examineing some of the local plant life. "ooo a lighter. i havnt palyed with one of those in ages. maybe later i can show you guys some tricks i learned form an old friend, assuming if you let me borrow it." he says with a smile to juan. "well im ready to go to the tropical area if you guys are." rings says with a smiel and looks at the two hosts.

Juan nodded.
" What's this about the tropics? Sounds good to me, so long as there aren't any monkeys...But hold on before we go I want to see these "results" these two nutcases are talking about."
 Moving towards one of the plants ,he opened the lighter again and let the flame sit for a moment before taking a deep breath; blowing it out towards the plant, instead of going out like he predicted the fire expanded and promptly set the poor plant on fire.
"SWEET JESUS!"
He jumped a step back and look down at the lighter, then the burning plant, lighter, plant and finally at the pair.
"What the hell!"

Ring was shocked by the flame's desire to remain lit. but he didnt want the fire spreading so he reached out with his powers and the shadows around the flame began to rise adn take shape. soon they formed a bubble aorund the flame, he jsut hoped that would put the flames out.

"Interesting." Melody commented. "It appears as though the radiation from Volcania's emity has caused your genome to mutate slightly, causing you to recieve the powers regularly distributed to the citizens of said region."
The three others looked at her blankly.
"In laymans terms, small particles, 'dust', if you will, has blown over from Volcania, and onto Juan. As this 'dust' is what gives the red Valerians their firepower," she giggled at that, "It must have given it to you aswell."
"Also," Felix informed, sniffing the roasted plant, "don't feel bad about hurting this plant. It didn't like you."
"As for getting to Tropica," Melody continued, "We don't have any transportion present, as generally our powers provide quick travel. As you, Juan, are inexperienced, we'll either have to transport you ourselves, or make a detour through Volcania to have you tutored. It's your choice."
"What's a 'mon-key'?" Felix asked, absently poking a rather aggresive carnivorous plant with a stick.

[Cyan]

Cyan backed up. "Now..We can work this out.." Cyan said, backing up. "Just give us your necklace, and you can go." one of the muggers said. "No! It wont get you much.." the Jackal said, turning around and dashing off. He accidentally tripped, and fell foward. "Give m-" was all Cyan heard as he fell into the rift.

"SOMEONE IS EMMERGING FROM THE PORTAL!" the Portal keeper interrupted for the third time today.
"YA KNOW," Felix yelled, "WE CAN KINDA TELL OURSELVES, BECAUSE WHENEVER SOMEONE COMES THROUGH YOUR CRUMMY PORTAL, LIGHTNING ALMOST SINGES OUR WHISKERS OFF!"
The Portal keeper stared blankly at Felix for a while, then raised his paws around his mouth, and yelled:
"SOMEONE IS EMMERGING FROM THE PORTAL!"
Felix just sighed.
