Sleep is a symptom of caffeine deprivation.

The goats start to eat again as before, but their icy blue eyes continue to gaze at you unblinkingly. Using you as a distraction, a pack of wolves hurriedly rushes toward the goats. The goats bay wildly and nudge their behemoth shepherd. The giant wakes up, grabs four of the wolves in one hand, and swallows them whole. The remaining wolves scatter in a desperate attempt to save their lives. The giant only manages to get two of the escaping wolves, and gives up chase to attend to his flock. One sheep was injured during the fray,so he gently picked it up, and gently stroked it as one would a small dog.

Ring froze when the wolves attacked and watched the giant tenderly care for the goat. now that it was awake maybe he could follow him back to what ever place he calls home and hopes the rest are there.

The giant puts the injured sheep in a pouch, and calls to his herd in a deep rumbling tone that you can't quite make out.  The herd gathers behind and starts to follow him. The giant is surprisingly agile while climbing through the thick trees, he did not break a single branch. He moved nearly soundlessly thanks to his overly large feet, the only indication he was moving was from the ground shaking at every step. After a quick walk for the giant, and several miles of running for you, you both reach the village. The village was just three large huts cut from the oldest of the ancient trees. From standing on the outskirts of the clearing you could see the Shepard and five others moving about cooking a meal. The seventh must be around somewhere.

For the rest of the evening the giants cook the injured goat, and eat it with the other giant's produce of the day. Soon the giants went into their huts to sleep with the moon shining bright overhead. There is still no sign of the seventh giant.

The shepherd and his wife went into the first hut, and the other two couples each went into their own huts. All of the huts are silent except for the occasional snore, and the fire on which they cooked their feast is dead.

Ring silently crept into the first hut and up to the larger of the two giants with one of his swords all ready drawn.

Neither of the giants stir as you eviscerate them. The hut's walls are badly made, but the roof is neatly woven from leaves and small branches. They did not have anything of importance on them, or in the hut, but you cut a part of the man's shirt to hold all the giant's tongues.

Ring sighed as he looked around around the hut. no valuable what so ever, 'all well at least i got two out of seven tongues, time for the next pair.' he thought to himself and went over to the entrance tot he hut to check for any of the other giants moving around.

The second hut went as well as the first, and still nothing of importance in the hut. However as you approach the third hut you hear the seventh giant. It is a baby crying in the final hut and the mother is trying to quiet it in the dark, so that they can go back to sleep without waking the father.

Ring heard the baby and stopped, if the mother was awake then she could possibly wake the father before he could get close enough to kill them. so he went around the back of the hut, avoiding the door and any windows as he skipped the third hut for now and went to the fourth.

The fourth hut, while hut like, is more of a small shed. The only use is for storing any food they have not eaten. It smells of rotten meat, and there is not anything of use inside unless you like meat past its prime.
The third hut quieted down after you barely heard the lullaby the mother sang to the baby.

Ring covered his mouth and tried not to gag at the stench as he backed away. form the hut. he decided to go back to the third hut and claim the tongues there.

You creep into the hut, and slit the throats of both of the parents easily. Their blood stains the bed as you make your way over to the crib. As you stand over it, the baby suddenly awakens. Its cries fill the ancient woods, now empty of its brethren. With its parents gone, it would surely die from starvation had you not been there.
