Ring felt a slight twinge of guilt for slaughtering the babe, but he had done far worse during services, and its better to kill it before either some animal gets it or it starves. with a quick flash he sliced the babies throat and waited for it to die before he cut out its tongue.

Sleep is a symptom of caffeine deprivation.

Once the infant's gurgled breaths had ceased, you cut out its tongue and put it in the bag with the rest. On your way back to the witch, your legs seem to move on their own, never stopping to rest even through the long night.

when rings realises that he cant stop he curses the witch, his luck and all magic in general. eventually he got back to the spot where the witch had sent him off and looked around for the old hag.

The icy chill of her breath compels you to turn around. She had taken the bag of tongues already, and was looking at it with the glee of a small child given a new toy.
"Go! You are free, but you will feel the weight of the murders, Ha Ha Ha!" Her cackle seemed to echo all around you as she vanished.

he sighed and then shrugged and continued to walk, 'death of seven more wont bother him, he'll jsut add their tallies to the others.' he thought to himself as he walked over a hill.
