Caramel nodded and held onto April's hand to follow her.

april led caramell after eric and the beast was close to charging at them but at the last second it changed course and attacked a limping hare that was trying to hop away. the beast knocked the hare to the ground and inserted the needle like appendage into it and waited for the hare to become edible for it.

Napalm and Sill-Putty

« Reply #63 on: February 25, 2010, 07:01:08 AM »

James aimed the rifle at the animal's neck, and releasing half his breath, He pulled the trigger. The rifle's report surprised him, and the thing's neck sprouted a fountain of crimson, and the heal lolled unnatraully. It went limp as the body caught up with the fact that the brain had been severed, and the Liquivore collapsed onto it's side, dead. He ran over to the Hare that had been attacked, his eyes wide with terror and pain, going into shock. James looked at the wound, and the rapidly working digestive enzymes. He had seen enough men die on the battlefield that he knew that the poor bastard was already dead, and he just didn't know it. He let out a scream as the Acids touched to his lungs, and began to yell in agony once more. James took a step back from the Hare, and closed his eyes, praying for the wounded guy, as the plea's and scream's continued. James finished praying, and aimed the rifle, pulling the trigger before he had a chance to change his mind. Swift and merciful. He knelt down, and began to shed a tear, both from the fact that he had broken a promise to himself, and for the man whose lifeless form lay before him. He got up, and began to look for a shovel.

War. It is part of the Human condition.
For as long as Humanity has been able to take life, we have done so in the name of everything, from Lust, to Greed, to simple Psychotic rage.
And eventually, War will consume us all, and we will have no one to point the finger at but ourselves...
