"The OSS figured I was needed down to show you guys and gals how to do it right but then again you're not exactly French are you?"
He had taken a moment to examine the other male.
"It's obvious in your voice."

aiden smiled and nodded yes. "you have good ears, im from across the pond. and i think unless none of us trust each other, even though we all seem to know of this place, we best be getting inside before true enemies show up. and if sure if none of us are who we say we are then the man behind the madoose (spelling?) on the other side of the door will mow us down." aiden says and waits for the knife to be lowered.

 Liam looked on for a tad longer, and then confirmed the OSS man's suspicion. "Yes, I'm from Belfast, Got caught up in this fuckarow in '39."

"Just some unfortunate fuck who was in the wrong place at the wrong time right? Understandable. But why the hell would you take action against the Nazis? That's what's puzzling to me."
He leaned against a stone and waited, eyes drifting back over to the English agent. Something didn't sit right about him.

 Liam chuckled as he shoved the Welrod back into a pocket, and a smile crossed his face. "I was a Smithy in Belfast, But I was also apt in the field of Chemistry. If you mix a few household chemicals in the proper proportions, a paste of sorts, and gove it a closed chamer to combust in, say, a lead pipe with endcaps, you've just made yourself an effective bomb." He pointed at a stack of pipes like the one's he had just described, and asked one of the frenchmen to retrieve one for him. A second later, the Resistance fighter was back at his post, and the bomb was in his hand, yet to be armed. He held it up for the Englishwoman, and the American to see.

"Right, home made explosives. Easy to make and easy to use. But that doesn't explain why you're doing this. Unless your some kind of thrill seeker."

aiden nodded as he talked. "i've seen home made bombs in action, they could be far deadlier then the factory made ones." she says and lsitens. she is very curious now. she didnt see why he was involved unless he was a soldier of fortune, or nazis wronged in some way like killing family.

"Exactly, suitable for someone who isn't with an armed force like me and the Brit here."
He reached into his pocket and drew out a cigarette.
"Is it safe to smoke?"

 Liam walked into the room, which was fairly large, considering the Catacomb's size. "I was here visiting a relative when Gerrie invaded in '39. My wife is in Belfast. I want the Krauts out of here just as much as the French do." He motioned to the now releived guard, who was sitting on a crate that was empty and unmarked, lighting a cigarette of their own. "I beleive that answers your question, Mister, What is your name anyways? And your's as well Brit."

He shrugged and lit up the cigarette, taking a few puffs before speaking.
"My name? Horatio Barnes, OSS."

"Aiden Alexander of Her Majesty's personal forces." aiden says not pulling out any cigarette since she didnt like smoking, mainly because it could give her position away to the enemy. she walked deeper into the french base and looked around at the soldiers, some were resting, others just relaxing but the most were getting ready for various acts of terrorism againdt the Nazis that night.

"Well now that we all chums. Mind telling me what the hell we can do?"
He had lit his cigarette too and leaned against one of the stone walls.

"its obvious that we all can kill nazis and are very willing to do so. maybe if you two talk to your superiors, if you have any, and see if you can team up with me and form a nazi hit squad?" aiden suggests.

 Liam shifted uncomfortably, not used to having to work with other people, besides the French. He looked around, and looked at the tired faces of the French, who shrugged at the suggestion as if to say 'why not'. "I'm free, and I hate Gerrie as much as anyone else here. Besides, three of us can scare 'em more than one of us ever could. I wouldn't be surprised if by the time this damned war is over, we had our own bullets in German Kar's."
