Jeremy Bernal is a horrible artist and person.  He's only drawing yiff for the money, and if you really need his rough and disproportionate depictions of females. you can go look for them on illegal sites. I wouldn't give that fucker a dime.

Not only do I find the art in the tour horribly unappealing (just not my style, sorry), the fact that it's presented like a typical porn site turns me off as well.  I just don't feel like yiff should show that much in common with pornography, personally.

I agree with you guys. Although he is a good artist (smooth linework and the likes), I think overly large breast and stuff doesn't look sexy. If that artist really only does yiffy stuff like that, then it's a true waste of talent.

I was a member for a bit, and I must say I don't really share the opinions of many.  :D  I thoroughly enjoyed several pieces, and the stories there were worth it to me.  I haven't been a member for over a year and a half, though, and probably will not join again.

Hes a good arist but I'm sure he could care less about art long as hes making money, and thiers a lot more arists stlyes out thier I like much better.

I dont know. I like his stuff, especially the ones that relate to another one of my big fetishes. But yeah, the fact he is in it for the money and not the pleasure of sharing your work with the world is very disconcerting, especially considering his pics all have do not distribute written all over them, even for the members. (Duh!)

Just seems like he no longer enjoys doing art for the purpose of doing art. It would be pretty much like someone doing sex not for the pleasure of sex but as a chore. At least in my mind as an artist, if you cant enjoy that what you dont make money off of, why do it in the first place?

Ive also heard he is a rather depressed and cynical man in life, not really fun to hang around.

And Ive seen worse boobs in furry art trust me. Those are realistic compared to some of the stuff out there.

Bernal has said Sexyfur.com is what he does for a living.  I'm sure it's very likely he no longer enjoys such a venture, because hobbies practiced constantly = work = no fun.  He maintains his site in order to live, period.  I don't envy him.

Bernal had a site on Furnation (under the name Cullen) for quite some time where he had a lot of art posted for free.  If I recall correctly, he took the free stuff down and started charging for it because he was tired of people -- who happened to be furry fans, to deal with what Romenus said about his possible furry status -- stealing and/or even reselling his art as their own.  And not just one or two isolated incidents of it.

Granted, people still post his copyrighted works from SexyFur, but any of it that I've seen actually has his name in the filename or is otherwise somehow still referred to as being his.

I'm a fan of his work, I think he's got an amazing style, and I wish that the crap hadn't gotten to the point that he felt wronged enough to stop posting freely-accessible art.
