The day started at 60+F! This, just after we had an 8-12 inch blizzard. Strong winds made it feel like the 50s. Then a storm blew in and now it's somewhere around 30 degrees. Obviously, this is wreaking havoc with the plants. Some of them just started blooming again and then BAM! This cold kills em. :(

About -10, around -20 or -30 with windchill, farenheit mind you. I hate the cold, but whatever, it's still winter. Global Warming ain't the huge issue that people claim it to be, not just yet at least

You know, up until this thread, I hadn't heard one single mention of global warming in years. Haven't heard any talk of El Nino either, lately.

It's nearly impossible to accurately predict the weather one week out. Where did the idea that we could do so over a millenia come from?

Anyway... *checks the weather via his cell* It's 12F, currently, wind out of the ENE at 8mph, humidity is 58%, barometer at 30.28in and steady.

The thinkg I hate about my attitude is that I almost always take perfect days for granted. I only notice the weather if it's too cold, too hot, too windy, too rainy, or there are frogs falling from the sky.

That's why I love making my living in the field, Fef.  If it's gorgeous, I'm very thankful for it and enjoy it as much as I can while throwing up a dish.  :D  On the days like today . . . . Let's just say I keep the truck running so I can go thaw my fingers every 4 minutes.  :D

Man, I could only -be- so lucky. >.<

It was -10 last night without wind chill (-10, for fur's sake!) and continues to stay in the negatives. When I went outside last night in my jacket and sweater I immediately began shivering like mad, and my face burned and stung. The wind and cold made it feel raw, and it hit hard, like someone throwing a bucket of ice water in your face.

...I wanna be in Hawaii now.  :(

Ah.. it's an old thread.. I was looking at the other entries kinda like 'wtf o.x' reading about people getting snow. XD

Just like the rest of the country, we've just been through a major heat wave with temps constantly between 101°F to 107°F.  Hell, it would be an average of like 88°F in the morning x.x  And 95°F at around 9PM at night.

But a cold front brought us some much needed rain and cooler temps :3

Dallas, TX (75219)

Partly Cloudy

72°F

Today's High
94°F

All of which feel way better than above 100°F
